About this product
The Ben Hogan VKTR 5-hybrid has a 25-degree loft and features an Aldila NV 85 X-Stiff graphite shaft. It is right-handed and comes with a headcover. The club is part of the VKTR series, designed for performance. Priced at $99.99, it is a premium hybrid suitable for golfers with faster swing speeds.
Our take
The VKTR 5-hybrid with the Aldila NV X-stiff shaft is a beast. It launched lower than I expected for a hybrid, but that's due to the stiff shaft. The headcover is a nice bonus. The club feels solid and the ball flies with a penetrating trajectory. For $100, it's a fair price for a hybrid with a premium shaft—newer models cost more. The 25-degree loft is perfect for gapping between my 4-iron and 5-wood. If you have a fast swing, this is a great option. My only caution is that the X-stiff may be too much for average swing speeds.
